A Williams School Video - May 2022
A big thank you to Jack Exum for taking an interest and using your talents to make such a wonderful video about The Williams School.
Ms. Lisa Williams on HCC Stafford TV - July 2020
Ms. Williams discusses how the school continued to provide engaging learning during the Covid-19 crisis. Within a week after the local quarantine started, the school provided Chromebooks and materials to each student. The teachers used Microsoft Teams and virtually conducted classes and had face- to-face time with each student on a daily basis.
NEW STUDENT enrollment begins APRIL 1, 2023!
THE WILLIAMS SCHOOL
Max's Story
In 2004, Mrs. Williams saw that her son, Max, seemed to be falling through the cracks in the traditional classroom setting. She knew that there had to be a better way to help her son learn and succeed in school. With the help of a friend, The Williams School was born. The school began with three students that had various diagnoses of Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Asperger's, ADD, ADHD and anxiety disorders. We have now grown into a place where kids can learn where they are academically and can be eased (and sometimes pushed) into where they "need" to be and beyond. In the past 14 years, we have had many students attend colleges and universities all over the United States, and some, after graduation from college, continue with Master degrees and beyond. Mrs. Williams's son, Max, is a 2020 graduate of Austin College in Sherman, with a BA degree in Communications/ Media Studies. The Williams School continues to assist students in all areas of their academic lives and we look forward to sharing many more success stories.
